My wife Kirsten is an awesome swimmer. She's joined a masters' swimming group and is now working up towards the Butternut Challenge, which is a 500 yard swim only doing the dreaded butterfly stroke. She recently took our new camera into a swimming pool and took some self portraits:
Classic self-portrait with goggles, although a little bubbly.
Rising to the surface now.
A nice view of her face, although she looks a bit frightened here perhaps? Kirsten, there are no sharks in this pool.
More purposeful here, as if she's ready to free-dive twenty-five meters to the bottom of the sea. (Or two meters to the bottom of this pool.)
Ahh, here's my favorite. She looks so lovely and mermaidish here, more Darryl Hannah than Ariel. The sun over her shoulder makes Kirsten look even more mysterious. Guys, you have permission to be jealous now.

Ian,
I am glad you like the camera. It does take nice pictures. I also bought a silicon case to put mine in since the metal body seems to be very slippery when wet. My wife bought it on line but I can't remember where. You should be able to do a search and find it. If you purchase one be sure not to store the camera in it when not in use. Take the camera out of the case, rinse in fresh water clean water and dry. The case if left on when damp will cause some corrosion.
By the way does your wife know you are posting her images on the world wide web? :)
Great adventures,
Trey
Oh , about the news story. Chip carter is the sports director for the local Fox station here in the Tampa area. We are about 3-4 weeks out from doing the story. I want to have the next version of the Exp done before we do the story. I will let you know as soon as we set a date.
He was very excited about the board. He likes windsurfing but said that he always wanted to be able to actually go some place with one, rather than just back and forth. He wanted to know when I would have them in production and how much they will cost. Looks like I better get busy!
Great adventures,
Trey
Trey,
My wife definitely gave permission to post these pictures. Actually, the post was her idea!
Clearly you need to get moving with production of your expedition windsurfers. I think it's an idea whose time has come. Windsurfing can be about more than sailing back and forth!

I haven't had that much fun with a camera in a long time! Tried to get the fins into the picture but my arms are only so long and the wide angle lens setting of the zoom doesn't zoom out that much. It's green and purple and sparkly and should come in handy when swimming those dreaded butterfly laps.
Yes, it was my idea to put a picture or two up....I personally like the seaweed hair.
